Juupiter is the home base of artist Juuhachi, a video game industry expat who has shifted focus back to their roots of hand-drawn illustration and portraiture.

A combination of traditional and digital techniques featuring a variety of subjects from the artist's life

results in a visual style that is both delicate and fierce. The hand-made marks and textural quality act as a reminder of the human spirit that resides at the core of each piece while also providing a foundation for the subtle undercurrent of fantasy that runs through the entire body of work.

In their time away from the drawing board, the artist enjoys traveling, attending gaming and music festivals

and working on the many projects of the art collective Imaginary Monsters.
